    Head on over to our online appointment system and create an account to get started. You can also give us a call or send us a text at 541-726-8435, or email us.

  2. Discuss specifics!

    We will get in touch to discuss specifics, answer any questions you have, and possibly schedule a tour or evaluation. If you do not hear from us within three days of contacting us or registering with our online appointment system, please give us a call!

  3. Visit us!

    We show you the facility, tell you about our policies, answer any questions you may have and, if you’ve scheduled an evaluation, we evaluate your dog for temperament, social skills, and handling. Please bring proof of vaccinations or titers (see below) and have your dog on a leash.

the nitty gritty…

In order to be an overnight camper, your dog must…

  • Pass our temperament evaluation

  • Be at least 4 months old

  • Have lived with you for at least a month

  • Be spayed or neutered by 9 months of age

  • Be people and dog friendly

  • Be healthy! (No active or super recent illnesses, and no symptoms of any illness)

  • Pass a trial half day of daycare first, then pass a full day of daycare

    • also, dogs with reservations over 3 nights in length must pass a trial overnight, or provide the name of an emergency contact who can come pick them up if boarding isn’t going well

Current Vaccinations Required:

  • Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)

  • Rabies

  • Bordetella given within the last year (titers also accepted for any of the vaccinations listed above)

  • Proof of a negative fecal test conducted within the last two months

Must be flea-free and on some method of flea prevention

  • If your dog has recently had any illness of any kind, especially one that is contagious, they must currently be symptom-free and have written consent from their vet giving them clearance to be around other dogs

Trial Visit

Is your dog new to Opportunity Barks or has it been more than one year since your dog stayed with us?

Please schedule a trial full day in our daycare well in advance of your trip. We want to make sure your dog is completely comfortable with us while you travel!

lodging rates

  • Evaluation (includes trial half day of daycare): $23 (one-time fee)

    • ($13 each additional dog)

  • Half Day of Daycare: $25.00/dog

  • Full Day of Daycare: $38.00/dog

    • If you bring at least two dogs twice a week for a full day, the additional dog will be only $33 per day.

  • Single night: $60

    • ($55 each additional dog)

  • Weekly rate (seven nights): $385

    • ($350 each additional dog)

  • Additional nights after seven: $55

    • ($50 each additional dog)

The above rates are effective 4/1/24. For stays booked prior to 4/1/24, the current rates will be honored.

**Lodging dogs who check out prior to 9:30 am will not be charged for daycare. If checkout is at 11:30am, you’ll be charged for a half day. If checkout is later than 11:30 am, you will be charged for a full day of daycare**
