BOARDING CHECKLIST:
What To Bring
Food (required)
Please bring your dog’s regular food for their stay, as an abrupt change in diet can sometimes have unfortunate consequences! We have a fridge and a freezer, so we can accommodate pretty much anything in your dog’s diet. Please provide at least two extra days of food in case your dog’s stay needs to be extended for any reason, and including feeding instructions is very helpful and appreciated. Also, we have plenty of water and food bowls, so unless your dog needs a special bowl, please leave yours at home as we don’t want them to get co-mingled with ours!
Medications
If your dog requires medications while they are staying with us, we are more than happy to administer them! Please make sure the types of medications and instructions are discussed with us when you drop off your dog. When possible, please bring medication in its original container and please include labels/instructions so we can ensure everything is administered properly.
Bed, Blanket, Crate (optional)
We have plenty of beds, blankets and crates for our overnight campers, but please feel free to bring your dog’s own bed and/or crate if you feel it would make them more comfortable during their stay.
Treats and Chew Bones (optional)
We provide our overnight campers with chicken-free and grain-free treats but feel free to bring your own treats or chew sticks, if you’d like. We are very mindful of dogs’ allergies, and we only give out extra goodies with owner’s permission. No rawhides, please!
Toys and/or Worn Article of Clothing (optional)
If your dog has a favorite toy, go ahead and bring it along! Unless it has a squeaker, then it’s probably best left behind an article of clothing you or someone in your household has worn might be a comfort to your dog as it has a familiar smell, so feel free to bring that along if you’d like!
